Category Manager (Foodservice)

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States

Base salary: $129,996–$158,655.60 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Create and lead category thought leadership initiatives for key Foodservice customers.
• Translate channel, consumer, syndicated, and shopper panel data into concise strategic insights.
• Support the development and execution of the Foodservice go-to-market strategy.
• Build content for joint business plans and executive customer meetings.
• Develop customer-specific plans to support the launch of new products and strategies.
• Lead the adoption of best-in-class category reporting for the Foodservice channel.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Category Management experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods.
• Experience with syndicated data and shopper panel systems such as Nielsen, Circana, and Numerator.
• Experience with Foodservice industry data systems, including Technomic, Datassential, Distillr, BlueWorld, GPO, and broadline distributor databases.
• Experience creating customer-facing selling decks, insight presentations, and joint business planning materials.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to present data accurately and credibly.
• Strong English language skills are required; a bachelor's degree is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience operating in the Foodservice industry or with Foodservice customers.
• Experience with AI tools, dashboard platforms such as Power BI, and scalable templates.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
