DevOps Support Specialist

Location: On-site in Torrance, California, United States, with primary coverage during standard business hours and occasional participation in an escalation or on-call rotation.

Pay range: $55.69–$75.35 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Monitor, triage, prioritize, resolve, and route IT help desk tickets involving DevOps infrastructure and tooling.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, source control, build and artifact repositories, containers, cloud environments, and monitoring platforms.
• Provide hands-on assistance with DevOps tools, access requests, provisioning, and established processes.
• Own and maintain Confluence How-To pages, documenting recurring issues, root causes, and resolutions.
• Identify recurring support patterns and reduce them through documentation, self-service tooling, and automation.
• Perform operational checks, pipeline reruns, license and account audits, environment cleanup, and incident escalation.

Requirements

• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• 2–5 years of experience in DevOps, IT support, systems administration, or platform/infrastructure support.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, containers, cloud platforms, ticketing systems, and Confluence.
• Basic scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python, plus strong troubleshooting and escalation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation habits, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining a technical knowledge base, preferably in Confluence.
• Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, monitoring, logging, observability, artifact management, or ITIL.
• Relevant AWS, Azure, CompTIA, or Kubernetes certifications.
• Experience supporting internal developer or business teams as an escalation point.
