Senior Platform Engineer (Cloud/DevOps)

What you will do

• Lead responses to complex infrastructure, identity, networking, security, and cloud incidents, driving service restoration and long-term corrective actions.
• Provide senior technical guidance across identity, messaging, cloud, virtualization, and security platforms.
• Optimize the performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Strengthen disaster recovery, backup, observability, recoverability, and business continuity practices with security and IT partners.
• Administer and improve Azure networking, Cisco ASA/ISE, Cisco Umbrella, F5 load balancing, and related enterprise security technologies.
• Automate operational work, support cloud migrations, and build reusable platform capabilities that reduce toil and improve service resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, network engineering, or related production technology roles.
• Experience designing, operating, and improving cloud and hybrid infrastructure in enterprise or SaaS environments.
• Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and enterprise networking and security practices across data center and cloud environments.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP architectures, virtualization, monitoring, performance analysis, and distributed infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting and automation technologies.
