Senior OT Threat Hunter (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States

What you will do

• Lead hypothesis-driven threat hunts across industrial ICS/OT networks using the hirify.global Platform.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for high-severity alerts and guide hunters and analysts through critical investigations.
• Configure and optimize customer hunt profiles to identify real threats and reduce false alarms.
• Develop hunting hypotheses and content, and provide feedback to Detection Engineering and Intelligence teams.
• Analyze suspicious network activity and create incident summaries and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build scripts, workflows, and tooling while mentoring junior team members in OT protocols, adversary tactics, and threat intelligence.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with hypothesis-based threat hunting and intelligence-led investigations.
• Experience analyzing network telemetry, behavioral deviations, and anomalies in OT contexts.
• Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, and packet analysis.
• Experience with PCAP analysis, IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms, or other network traffic analysis tools.
• Deep familiarity with OT adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, including MITRE ATT&CK for ICS.
• Ability to communicate complex security findings clearly and experience serving as a technical escalation point.
