VP of Trust & Safety

Location: Anywhere; 100% remote

hirify.global operates a social VR platform with a large community-created collection of virtual worlds and experiences.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Trust & Safety team, including Trust & Safety Agents.
• Set the product and operational strategy for trust and safety, embedding safety by design into platform development.
• Oversee content and user-behavior moderation to support compliance with community guidelines and policies.
• Develop scalable policies, processes, training programs, internal tools, and operational workflows.
• Establish goals and metrics, track performance, and drive continuous operational improvement.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, executive leadership, technology companies, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of trust and safety leadership experience with management responsibility in a consumer-facing technology company.
• Strong knowledge of content moderation, digital safety frameworks, and policy development.
• Experience leading high-performing teams with a focus on safety, well-being, and operational efficiency.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate complex safety concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with data analysis, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement.
