Staff Application Engineer (OneStream)

What you will do

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain scalable OneStream solutions for financial processes, performance management, and reporting.
• Define best practices for metadata, hierarchies, cube design, security modeling, integrations, and platform performance.
• Develop and manage complex integrations with Workday, Oracle, Coupa, Concur, and other connected financial systems.
• Optimize data loads, perform testing and debugging, conduct system audits, and support OneStream roadmap planning.
• Create technical documentation, including data-flow diagrams, cube specifications, integration mappings, and UAT materials.
• Coach users and support administration, change management, training, and adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with EPM platforms, including architecture, process design, and deployment.
• 4+ years of hands-on OneStream implementation and development experience at global scale, including architecture, security modeling, and performance tuning.
• Deep experience with financial Master Data Management, dimensions, hierarchies, approval workflows, and metadata consistency.
• High proficiency in SQL and VB.Net business rules, Dashboard XFBR rules, dynamic calculations, member formulas, Cube Views, and XFGetCell.
• Experience designing OneStream data cubes that combine multiple data sources and managing enterprise-wide hierarchies.

Nice to have

• Certified OneStream Professional (OCP) Lead Architect qualification.
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory audit compliance.
• Experience implementing OneStream AI capabilities and MarketPlace solutions.
• Experience with Workato, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar integration platforms.
• Experience in technology-intensive, fast-changing environments and transformation projects.
