Air Force Data Entry Analyst

Location: Dayton, Ohio, and various other locations in the United States. Travel of up to 25% may be required, including on-site visits.

Salary: $48,000–$55,000 per year, plus potential bonuses, overtime pay, and benefits.

What you will do

• Navigate Air Force accounting and feeder systems to perform data entry and correct financial data.
• Analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
• Create and update training materials, including lesson plans and handouts, using automated methods.
• Deliver training and on-the-job support to Air Force Financial Managers through telephone, video teleconference, webinars, and local on-site visits.
• Support SAF/FMF teams during surge and year-end processes.
• Provide targeted assistance based on metrics, recurring critical-task results, and data analysis.

Requirements

• At least one year of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and brief senior leaders and managers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Air Force Lines of Accounting and financial data elements.
• Experience reviewing computed travel vouchers and miscellaneous collection and disbursement vouchers.
• Experience with Air Force financial systems, including CDS, DEAMS, DTIM, DDS, FMSuite, FMWF, Query, GAFS-BL, GAFS-R, IAPS, IPAC, PIEE, RTS, SBSS, and SMAS.
