Senior Workforce IAM Governance Specialist (IAM)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States; four days onsite at the Seneca One Buffalo location with the option to work from home one day per week.

Salary: $97,100–$161,800 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Create, update, and implement workforce IAM policies, procedures, governance processes, and internal controls.
• Monitor compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
• Analyze data and produce reports, performance metrics, and recommendations for cybersecurity leadership.
• Coordinate audit and regulatory responses, documentation reviews, remediation tracking, timelines, and communications.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Technology, First Line Risk, Internal Audit, external auditors, and business stakeholders.
• Educate cybersecurity teams and support the implementation of resilient identity governance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience including at least 2 years in Cybersecurity, Technology, or Risk/Audit.
• Intermediate knowledge of IAM principles, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Power BI and/or SQL.
• Ability to work four days onsite in Buffalo, New York, with one work-from-home day per week.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into clear policies and procedures.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SailPoint, Azure AD, Entra ID, CyberArk, or PAM solutions.
• Experience with IAM road mapping, tooling strategy, and modernization.
• Knowledge of cloud identity strategy, RBAC, conditional access, and privileged role governance.
• Experience applying technology risk principles and compliance requirements.
