Senior Building Technology Systems Director (Operational Technology)

Salary: $189,200–$283,800 in Denver; $199,520–$299,280 in Los Angeles; $209,840–$314,760 in New York.

What you will do

• Lead the national Building Technology Systems business unit and set its strategic, financial, and operational direction.
• Develop strategies for operational technology integration, OT cybersecurity, telecommunications, electronic safety, and security systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, methodologies, vendor platforms, and tools for intelligent building solutions.
• Build relationships with owners, operators, contractors, commissioning agents, strategic partners, and senior client stakeholders.
• Drive business development, project pursuits, client engagement, industry representation, and thought leadership.
• Set team goals, mentor staff, build succession planning, and maintain technical and service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, security management, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience and preferably 7 years in leadership or management.
• Experience consulting for building owners and operators across Building Technology Systems.
• Advanced knowledge of telecommunications, electronic safety and security, operational technology, network design, OT/IT architecture, and solutions architecture.
• Experience with IBMS, BAS, SCADA, access control, video surveillance, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher in building technology, cybersecurity, or business administration.
• Certifications such as PE, RCDD, CISSP, PSP, or CPP.
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity risk assessment and standards including NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, BICSI, TIA/EIA, NFPA, UL, NEC, and IBC.
