Senior UI Developer (React/Spring Boot)

Location: Onsite at National Business Park, Maryland; U.S. citizenship required.

Salary: $99,000–$206,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces for mission-critical applications using JavaScript frameworks.
• Build Spring Boot RESTful services and microservices supporting dynamic front-end applications.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data streams.
• Create reusable UI components, design patterns, and responsive experiences optimized for performance across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with UX designers, software engineers, and mission stakeholders to translate complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces.
• Apply secure coding, agile development, configuration management, code review, documentation, and mentoring practices.

Requirements

• STEM degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of professional UI or front-end development experience.
• Expert JavaScript proficiency and experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong Spring Boot experience building RESTful APIs and microservices, including front-end integration.
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design, build tools, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
• U.S. citizenship and onsite work in Maryland are required.

Nice to have

• TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native Spring Boot deployments, Spring Security, or OAuth 2.0.
• WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, Jest, Cypress, JUnit, Mockito, or broader Java and Spring ecosystem experience.
• Experience developing applications in classified or secure environments.
