Senior Client Program Manager (Health & Welfare)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; flexibility to work in-office, virtually, or in a combination of both

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, and Health & Welfare programs.
• Coordinate Product, Development, Configuration, Data, QA, and Operations workstreams and manage dependencies, risks, budgets, forecasts, and change control.
• Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, lead steering committees, and provide strategic delivery guidance.
• Establish governance frameworks, escalation paths, and data-driven executive reporting.
• Influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment and promote modern delivery practices, automation, and AI-enabled productivity solutions.
• Improve PMO standards through lessons learned, best practices, templates, and modern delivery methodologies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing complex, client-facing programs, software implementations, business transformations, or large-scale delivery initiatives.
• Experience with benefits or pension delivery, SaaS platforms, enterprise software implementation, or similarly complex environments.
• PMP certification is required.
• Demonstrated success delivering large, multi-workstream programs with measurable business impact.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, change control, and risk management.
• Executive presence, stakeholder negotiation skills, delivery-tool expertise, and a degree in business, technology, engineering, finance, actuarial science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience leading client migrations, platform modernizations, or large-scale transformation programs.
• Retirement, pension, or Health & Welfare delivery experience.
• Agile, Scrum Master, Prosci, or related certifications.
• Experience using automation and AI tools to improve delivery efficiency and reporting.
• Experience in SaaS or cloud-based technology environments.
