Sr Accountant

Location: Irvine, California, United States; primarily office-based with some local travel.

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage general accounting tasks for several entities.
• Analyze expense reports and prepare monthly accruals and journal entries.
• Perform month-end close activities, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger accounts for audit, tax, and cost analysis purposes.
• Support intercompany bookings, SOX and audit reviews, and monthly or quarterly VAT returns.
• Back up GL colleagues and support the AP/AR function as needed.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a general ledger function.
• Accounting degree or commercial diploma.
• Experience in a US company and multinational environment is preferred.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Ability to work in an office environment and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license for local travel.
