What you will do

• Design, build, test, and document core client-side networking software.
• Develop connectivity features for clients, subnet routers, exit nodes, and integrations with customer network infrastructure.
• Combine established network protocols with hirify.global-specific designs and frameworks.
• Apply security-focused architecture and coding practices to networking modules.
• Optimize software performance, reliability, and scalability across platforms and hardware.
• Resolve complex customer connectivity issues and contribute to relevant open-source projects.

Requirements

• Significant experience with networking software and diagnosing networking issues.
• Strong knowledge of routing, VPNs, IP address management, and NAT traversal.
• Proficiency in Go or low-level languages such as C, C++, or Rust.
• Experience with concurrent programming and performance optimization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and asynchronously.
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic environment of an early-stage company.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of low-level operating-system network stacks.
