What you will do

  • Design presentations summarizing the performance of Japan funds and portfolio companies for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assess investment-level exit valuation projections and synthesize them into fund-level performance narratives and distribution forecasts.
  • Prepare and manage executive-level quarterly valuation presentations and supporting documentation for portfolio companies.
  • Coordinate the funding and execution of acquisitions and dispositions, including calculations, schedules, investor capital calls, and distributions.
  • Analyze performance metrics, operational updates, and financial research for fund management and investment executives.
  • Support fundraising through marketing materials, investor communications, and responses to due diligence requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; accounting, finance, or economics concentration preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience required; financial services experience preferred.
  • Expertise in quantitative analysis and financial modeling, with a strong accounting or finance background.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Frequent significant overtime and availability outside normal business hours required, especially during valuation cycles, deal closings, and fundraising periods.
