Manager, Accounting Project Systems

hirify.global is hiring for a role focused on revenue and project accounting, financial systems, controls, and reporting operations.

What you will do

• Lead revenue and project accounting, including contract evaluation, revenue recognition, close activities, and financial reporting.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, revenue schedules, and supporting financial documentation.
• Administer and improve project accounting systems, reporting capabilities, workflows, and financial processes.
• Develop internal controls, policies, procedures, and documentation, and support internal and external audits.
• Lead financial system enhancements, process automation, system upgrades, and integration activities for strategic initiatives.
• Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate direct reports while collaborating with finance, sales, operations, billing, and information technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, revenue accounting, project accounting, financial systems, audit, or a related financial field, including leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, revenue accounting, financial reporting, project accounting, contract accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience with accounting systems, financial reporting applications, process improvement, and cross-functional project management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, organizational, and team development skills.
• Ability to work primarily in an office environment in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant certification.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with revenue recognition requirements, enterprise resource planning systems, financial reporting, and internal controls.
