R&D Technical Lead with a Focus on Quality

What you will do

• Represent R&D in the qualification and development of new and existing suppliers for gas turbine components.
• Ensure technical requirements, drawings, specifications, and process requirements are understood and implemented by manufacturers.
• Coordinate supplier qualification and development activities across specialists in Compressor, Turbine, Combustion, Materials Laboratory, Procurement, and Quality.
• Structure, prioritize, and allocate work packages with line managers and track execution across functions.
• Perform supplier technical evaluations, audits, and capability assessments.
• Drive continuous improvements in manufacturing processes, product quality, and supplier performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in a technical role related to manufacturing, quality, engineering, or supplier development.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and industrial quality requirements.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional activities and stakeholders in a complex technical environment.
• Fluent Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Analytical, structured, communicative, and able to translate technical requirements into practical solutions while managing multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in supplier development, welding, machining, casting, or other manufacturing processes.
