Lead Engineer, PV&T (Pressure Vessels and Tanks)

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden; work from the Gothenburg office with occasional travel to supplier and customer sites

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the pressure vessels and tanks discipline team in customer delivery projects.
• Manage the discipline budget and coordinate with piping, structural engineering, and process design teams.
• Prepare procurement and manufacturing documentation, schedules, specifications, and drawings for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks.
• Follow up equipment manufacturing through drawing reviews and daily supplier communication.
• Support installation work at customer and workshop sites, both remotely and on site.
• Contribute to pre-projects, sales activities, work-process development, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• More than 10 years of relevant industry experience in engineering design, drafting, and supplier interaction.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of engineering norms and standards such as EN, ASME, and GB.
• Experience working in global project teams and collaborating across technologies.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks and E3D.
• Experience with evaporation plants or other pulp and paper process areas.
• Site experience in the pulp and paper industry.
