Solutions Engineering Associate (IAM)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts; New York, New York; or Pennsylvania, United States. Salary eligibility also covers candidates in California excluding the San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington.

Salary: $132,000–$182,000 annual OTE, including base salary and incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives on technical discovery, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Demonstrate identity solutions covering Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, and lifecycle management.
• Build and customize demo applications and integrations using JavaScript and Python.
• Help customers evaluate and implement integrations with APIs and third-party services.
• Translate identity and security concepts into clear, business-focused messaging and support RFPs/RFIs.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and improve offerings.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional experience in a technical, customer-facing, or pre-sales role.
• Hands-on development experience with JavaScript and/or Python.
• Experience working directly with customers through technical support, implementation, consulting, or sales engineering.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for explaining technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work from the listed United States locations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Okta, Auth0, or other identity platforms.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, authentication, and access control.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, system integrations, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
