Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Auth Experiences)

Location: Remote within Canada

Base pay: 153,000–213,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly goals while guiding engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
• Build and maintain authentication, verification, and fraud-prevention customer journeys across web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to evaluate technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
• Monitor system metrics, support service availability, and participate in on-call and operational efforts.
• Improve code review and design standards, and share technical practices through writing and tech talks.
• Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and technical leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience creating technical plans and elegant, simple, extensible designs for significant features or system components.
• Ability to make substantial changes safely in large codebases using effective tools and engineering practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
