Therapy Aide (Healthcare)

Location: 1005 East Rosecrans Avenue, Compton, California, United States

Salary: $24.00–$28.00 per hour, plus a target annual bonus of 5% and possible additional incentive compensation.

hirify.global provides comprehensive medical and daily-living support for older adults through the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), delivering coordinated care in centers and participants’ homes.

What you will do

• Assist licensed therapists with therapeutic treatment activities for elderly participants.
• Assemble, adjust, adapt, repair, and construct simple participant equipment under therapist direction.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, therapy gyms, mats, and clinical equipment.
• Maintain inventory and set up and lead recreational activities under the direction of a recreational therapist.
• Communicate with participants, caregivers, clinicians, and other stakeholders in person, by phone, and through electronic systems.
• Travel between work sites or community locations as needed and follow safety, infection-control, PPE, and vaccination requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with frail or elderly people.
• Proof of medical clearance for communicable diseases, including a TB test.
• Proof that all immunizations are up to date.
• Work authorization in the United States is verified through E-Verify.
• Ability to remain stationary or move for extended periods and perform bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling, typically up to 25–50 pounds with assistance or mechanical aids.

Nice to have

• Education or experience in physical, occupational, or recreational therapy.
• Spanish bilingual skills.
• State-issued driver’s license, personal transportation, and legally required auto insurance.
