What you will do

  • Support production programs for hydraulic and electromechanical actuators throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to product requirements by consulting with customers and sales personnel.
  • Perform trade studies and analyses to validate conceptual solutions.
  • Prepare proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical write-ups.
  • Develop reliable designs through experimental development testing.
  • Document designs, analyses, and test results in accurate technical reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in design and development engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Chatsworth, California.
  • The position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing, analyzing, and developing complex electrohydraulic or electromechanical actuators.
  • Knowledge of EVMS fundamentals, project planning, scheduling, resource loading, and MS Project.
  • Mechanical or aerospace engineering degree.
  • Experience with complex systems and electric- or hydraulic-driven system testing.
