Strategic Product Portfolio Manager (Fintech)

Location: US Remote; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for full-time employment.

Salary: $132,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Define enterprise Product Operations standards, portfolio methods, lifecycle criteria, templates, and governance practices across Product and Engineering teams.
• Establish Jira data quality, workflow, backlog hygiene, reporting, and governance standards as a reliable source of truth.
• Develop portfolio measurement frameworks, metrics, dashboards, and reporting for planning completeness, delivery performance, and operational health.
• Lead quarterly portfolio planning, dependency analysis, cross-functional workshops, and adoption of operating standards without direct authority.
• Translate portfolio data into reliable inputs for Finance, Product Marketing, Customer Experience, Sales, Engineering, and executive decision-making.
• Improve roadmap and capacity visibility while evaluating automation and AI-enabled Product Operations workflows.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in product operations, product portfolio management, strategic planning, business operations, product management, or related technology functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced experience designing Product Operations, portfolio, planning, or governance practices across multiple cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira and experience establishing data governance, workflow, backlog, or reporting standards.
• Strong analytical skills with spreadsheet and data visualization experience, including Tableau or Power BI.
• Deep understanding of Agile product delivery, quarterly planning, roadmap and dependency management, portfolio metrics, and stakeholder influence without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, digital banking, SaaS, or a related technology environment.
• Experience with portfolio analytics, KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, financial modeling, capacity planning, or strategic investment planning.
• Experience implementing automation or AI-enabled workflows in Product Operations or related processes.
