Salary: $117,000–$185,000 annually; $145,000–$218,000 annually for specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area.

What you will do

• Develop performant full-stack web applications for an API and multi-network satellite orchestration platform.
• Build features providing real-time situational awareness and command-and-control capabilities for high-value aircraft.
• Collaborate in an Agile, self-organized Scrum team to create evolving technical designs and customer-focused functionality.
• Serve as a frontend or backend subject matter expert and mentor junior engineers.
• Work with UX designers to create intuitive and efficient user experiences.
• Improve technology, development processes, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Active United States Secret or Top Secret security clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• 2+ years of hands-on web application development experience with React, Spring Boot, Python, or Go.
• Knowledge of software architecture, algorithms, data structures, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience building and deploying solutions in AWS, Azure, or another cloud platform.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile development, React meta-frameworks such as Next.js or TanStack, and databases including Redis, Elasticsearch, or TimescaleDB.
• Experience with UX/UI design, CI/CD tools, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Ansible, ArgoCD, or similar technologies.
• Interest in leadership opportunities such as Scrum Master, team lead, or mentor.
