Senior Solutions Engineer (Identity Security)

Location: Hybrid role in Warsaw, Poland

Annual OTE: 330,000–484,000 PLN, including base salary and incentive compensation; equity may also be available.

What you will do

• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer sales lifecycle.
• Build sales presentations and product demonstrations for developers, product managers, and C-level executives.
• Educate customers on identity security and the Okta Identity Platform.
• Identify technical needs through detailed discovery and propose targeted solutions.
• Advise enterprise and strategic customers on identity security capabilities and business value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and meet customers through presentations, events, travel, and meetings.

Requirements

• Experience in pre-sales, such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or pre-sales consulting.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, including at a whiteboard.
• Knowledge of at least one network security protocol, such as OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, or LDAP.
• Knowledge of identity governance and administration, including identity lifecycle management, access reviews, RBAC, and policy enforcement.
• Knowledge of privileged access management, including least privilege, JIT access, session monitoring, and credential vaulting.
• Understanding of application security, sales methodologies such as MEDDPICCC, enterprise customers, and business value communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity and access management, single sign-on, and API-based solutions.
• Software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field.
