Simulator Technician II (Flight Simulation)

Location: Must work at the primary location in Dallas, Texas, United States; travel up to 10% may be required.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hirify.global and non-hirify.global flight simulators and associated systems.
• Diagnose and resolve routine and complex simulator issues at component and system levels.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight tasks, visual alignments, and aircraft-specific simulator procedures.
• Run and evaluate Qualification Test Guide results and document maintenance activities in the maintenance management system.
• Support simulator refurbishment, hardware modifications, testing, validation, logistics, and customer support.
• Train technicians in foundational technical skills and complete ongoing technical development.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent related technical training.
• At least 2 years of direct simulator experience or 4 years of related experience in electronics, avionics, automated systems, computer networking, troubleshooting, or repair.
• Experience with component- and system-level troubleshooting, schematics, electronic diagnostic tools, electronic test equipment, soldering, and circuit board repair.
• Basic knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications, with strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work at the Dallas, Texas location and meet the physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in confined spaces.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; hirify.global participates in E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex simulator maintenance, QTG evaluation, technician mentoring, computerized maintenance management systems, refurbishment projects, and hardware modifications.
