Senior Product Software Engineer (AI Operations)

Location: Barcelona or Madrid, Spain; office-first schedule with on-site work several days a week and remote work when appropriate

What you will do

• Design systems and high-level prompts for multi-agent systems that generate underlying code.
• Review and validate agent-generated output for security, scalability, and structural quality.
• Orchestrate multiple AI agents running in parallel and ensure coherent feature output.
• Build and scale AI-powered tools for operations, including time management, employee lifecycle, and compensation workflows.
• Define workflows, run experiments, evaluate results in production, and share effective practices with the engineering team.

Requirements

• Experience shipping AI-powered features and evaluating their reliability and user impact in production.
• Practical understanding of agentic workflows, LLM architecture tradeoffs, RAG patterns, and agentic frameworks.
• Professional experience with Ruby on Rails and React, plus integrating AI models into scalable cloud-native environments.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly in English.
• Ability to work from the Barcelona or Madrid office several days a week is required by the office-first schedule.
