Program Manager I (Healthcare)

Location: Remote in Illinois, with in-person department meetings; applicants in the greater Chicago area are highly preferred.

Salary: $27.02–$48.55 per hour

What you will do

• Oversee HealthWorks agency performance, program execution, contract obligations, and DCFS standards compliance.
• Conduct quarterly desk reviews and agency audits, analyze results, and provide coaching, training, and technical assistance.
• Act as the primary liaison among YouthCare, DCFS, and HealthWorks agencies.
• Coordinate agency, cross-functional, and stakeholder meetings and communicate program status to management.
• Review performance reports and maintain documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists, risk plans, and policy materials.
• Identify trends, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and improve program outcomes, compliance, and operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of project management or business process experience is preferred.
• Experience in program management, healthcare operations, audit management, or relationship management is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, and CPT sponsorship.
