Field Tech 1

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama, United States. Field work requires travel to customer and environmental testing sites, including some overnight stays.

Salary: $16.00 per hour

What you will do

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process, test, pick up, transport, and deliver air, soil, water, and related environmental samples.
• Complete field service documentation, test kits, logs, forms, databases, and results records.
• Prepare vehicles, instruments, supplies, safety equipment, and documentation for daily field operations.
• Support environmental programs, operational improvements, issue resolution, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Interact professionally and cooperatively with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related work experience is preferred; one year of laboratory or environmental experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel, including some overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license and continued maintenance of required licenses and certifications.
• Comfort operating a company vehicle equipped with GPS/telematics tracking and inward- and outward-facing safety cameras without audio recording.
