• Prepare and electronically file or mail Form 1040 individual income tax returns.
• Maintain accurate tax return records and supporting documentation.
• Calculate tax liabilities and refunds and apply relevant deductions, credits, and exemptions.
• Collect, organize, and enter financial information into tax preparation software.
• Research tax issues, review returns, and support compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Communicate with clients, answer tax-related questions, provide guidance, and record billable time.

• One year of relevant tax return preparation experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of tax calculations, accounting principles, and tax law compliance.
