Intern, Accounting - Tax (Retail)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; hybrid schedule with at least one day per week at HQ

Salary: $19.50 per hour

What you will do

• Support tax reporting, use tax accruals, income tax compliance, and tax provisioning.
• Review SKUs and store locations to verify tax codes and rates.
• Assist with tax audit preparation and related documentation.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and analyze bank fees.
• Contribute to process improvements across tax and treasury operations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Philadelphia area and work from HQ at least one day per week during the internship.
• Currently enrolled as a rising junior, senior, graduate student, or recent graduate with a relevant background.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and remote meeting software.
• Self-starter attitude, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills.

Nice to have

• Education or experience in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, project management, and professionalism.
