DevOps Engineer II (AWS)

What you will do

• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production and pre-production infrastructure issues.
• Design and implement CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code improvements using AWS and related tools.
• Drive reliability engineering, incident prevention, resilience hardening, and operational standards.
• Partner with technology teams on secure, scalable platform architecture decisions.
• Mentor associate and mid-level engineers and provide informal technical leadership.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and lead responses to high-impact incidents.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency with AWS services, IAM, networking, and security controls.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform and/or CloudFormation design and operations.
• Strong experience building and operating CI/CD systems at team scale.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container delivery workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language used for automation.
• Ability to lead complex cross-team initiatives and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or higher.
• Terraform Associate certification.
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
