Microbiologist Technician I (Biotech)

What you will do

• Perform microbiological testing and environmental monitoring of products, utilities, surfaces, air, and personnel.
• Execute disinfectant efficacy testing and other microbiological assays according to SOPs and compendial standards.
• Prepare media, sampling kits, and test solutions and support sterilization practices.
• Work in classified cleanrooms using aseptic gowning, PPE, biological safety cabinets, and laboratory instruments.
• Record results in validated systems including ACE and LIMS while maintaining data integrity.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Facilities on cleaning, equipment, inventory, and reagent activities.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing, preferably in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, or another regulated industry.
• Knowledge of quality systems and regulations, including cGMP, ISO standards, and FDA/EU requirements.
• Experience with document control, change control, and electronic quality management systems.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and independent working skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• No C2C arrangements.
