Biotechnologist I (Days)

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire, US; fully site-based. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

What you will do

• Set up and operate production equipment while monitoring manufacturing processes.
• Perform clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) operations.
• Complete production and quality documentation according to GMP and GDP requirements.
• Perform basic laboratory activities, including pH and conductivity monitoring and product sample testing.
• Move raw materials and chemicals across production areas and maintain facility and equipment cleanliness through routine cleaning, sanitization, and 6S activities.
• Attend shift exchanges and meetings, communicate by email, participate in projects, and maintain the individual training plan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Science-related education is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is required; cGMP or biopharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
• Strong logic, decision-making, critical thinking, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, adapt to changing business priorities, seek feedback, and translate feedback into action.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Portsmouth, US, on a rotational day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
