Environmental Test Support Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, with occasional testing support in Bedford, Massachusetts; onsite work required.

Salary: $45.26 per hour

What you will do

• Support a wide variety of environmental testing in a laboratory setting.
• Operate, clean, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory and facility equipment.
• Operate complex manual, automated, and semi-automated equipment used in hardware production.
• Coordinate and maintain calibration records, preventive maintenance documentation, drawings, and procedures.
• Document work according to work-unit policies and communicate technical information clearly.
• Pick up and deliver test equipment, data, office supplies, and custodial supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Two years of applicable technical education and two years of applicable experience, or four years of applicable experience.
• At least two years of experience supporting electromechanical systems and complex integration and test activities.
• Experience and proficiency with hand and power tools, manual labor, and automated or semi-automated equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written, verbal, organizational, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to perform strenuous assignments requiring strength, stamina, and dexterity.
• Current Secret security clearance required; ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is also required.
