Head of Engineering (Commerce Finance Tech)

What you will do

• Lead the Commerce Finance Tech Circle Cluster and manage two engineering teams.
• Oversee strategic initiatives across the system landscape in collaboration with application teams.
• Build scalable technical solutions, including systems supporting commerce ERP integration and financial data pipelines.
• Define architectural decisions and ensure reliable, modern products.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and provide leadership to high-performing engineering teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior leadership while balancing technical complexity and business value.

Requirements

• Experience supporting the development of highly scalable software products in an agile environment.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, scalable systems, and data modeling.
• Experience with business and technology processes and with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical, data-driven, efficiency-focused, and hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.
• Strong communication skills and a get-things-done mentality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Google BigQuery, AWS, MySQL, or PHP.
