Senior Director Operations Finance and Business Partnering (Renewable Energy)

Location: White Plains, New York, United States; hybrid schedule with three days in the office each week

Salary: $190,000–$200,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility

Company

Develops and operates solutions that capture biogas and convert it into low-carbon renewable natural gas and renewable electricity, while marketing renewable natural gas to heavy-duty transportation and industrial sectors.

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly and quarterly forecasting.
• Partner with business segment leaders on financial strategy, operational KPIs, scenario planning, and performance improvement.
• Develop financial models supporting strategic investments, capital projects, risk management, and capital efficiency.
• Monitor energy market trends, commodity prices, and regulatory changes and assess their financial impact.
• Deliver financial reporting and business intelligence to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems, and provide analysis for investor relations and stakeholder communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 5 or more years in a senior FP&A role.
• Experience in the energy sector, such as utilities, renewables, oil and gas, or infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, capital planning, and complex strategic analysis.
• Experience with finance transformation, Anaplan, ERP solutions such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Hyperion, and advanced Excel.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, leadership, and change-management skills.
