Technical Product Owner (Enterprise Observability)

Location: Warsaw Downtown Office, Poland; hybrid model with remote work available two days per week

What you will do

• Own the functional design and capability roadmap for an enterprise-scale, vendor-agnostic observability platform.
• Define capabilities across telemetry ingestion, real-time monitoring, dashboards, synthetic monitoring, real user monitoring, alerting, and SLO management.
• Work with SREs, operations teams, platform engineers, application owners, and architects to investigate operational pain points, telemetry needs, workflows, and failure modes.
• Translate discovery into functional specifications, user journeys, integration requirements, non-functional expectations, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams on APIs, telemetry models, integration patterns, scalability, security, configuration, and extensibility.
• Validate end-to-end quality and measurable outcomes such as SLO coverage, incident detection, MTTD, MTTR, automation readiness, adoption, and user satisfaction.

Requirements

• Engineering or deeply technical product background, such as software engineering, platform engineering, SRE, observability engineering, solution architecture, data engineering, or technical product ownership.
• Experience shaping enterprise-grade, data-intensive infrastructure, developer-platform, observability, or monitoring products from discovery through engineering delivery.
• Strong technical depth in cloud and distributed systems, APIs, data models, telemetry pipelines, metrics, logs, traces, events, dashboards, alerting, and SLIs/SLOs.
• Experience defining functional product architecture, detailed specifications, user journeys, non-functional expectations, and precise acceptance criteria.
• Excellent written and verbal English required.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Warsaw office model is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, LogScale, Loki, Tempo, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic, Azure Monitor, or Google Cloud Observability.
• Deep familiarity with SRE practices and the observe-to-prevent operations value chain.
• Experience with telemetry schemas, correlation identifiers, topology-aware integrations, distributed tracing, API-driven platforms, multi-tenant systems, or configuration-driven product models.
• Experience with product discovery, journey mapping, service design, usability testing, or self-service design for technical products.
• Familiarity with ITIL 4 monitoring, event management, incident management, problem management, SAFe PO/PM, PSPO, SRE, cloud, or OpenTelemetry certifications.
