Federal Tax Services Associate

Location: Salt Lake City, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required.

Salary: $70,400–$84,000 per year.

What you will do

• Work on teams serving clients across a broad range of federal tax specialty areas.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Apply tax regulations and accounting pronouncements to client engagements.
• Contribute to multiple assignments and collaborate with clients and engagement teams.

Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Accounting major.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Entry-level applicants must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Progress toward successful completion of the CPA exam.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
