Sr Principal, Tech Program Manager - Cybersecurity Portfolio Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $137,400–$240,400 USD annually, plus a discretionary bonus program that may include equity.

What you will do

• Lead a cybersecurity portfolio covering application security, data protection, and SaaS security.
• Translate cybersecurity strategy into actionable roadmaps and oversee execution of enterprise-priority programs.
• Manage project managers and matrixed staff across complex, interconnected initiatives.
• Govern stakeholder engagement, portfolio performance, dependencies, risks, scope, schedules, and resources.
• Manage capital and expense budgets, forecasts, budget variance, and annual planning for programs ranging from $5M to $20M.
• Lead staffing, performance management, career development, and collaboration across full-time and contractor teams.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of direct program and project management experience.
• Experience leading strategic application security programs, including SSDLC, SAST, DAST, and secrets management, plus experience in data protection, API security, or SaaS security.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, cloud-native architectures, software supply chain security, and vulnerability management workflows.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives, large-scale programs, cross-functional teams, and demand and capacity management.
• Experience managing large program budgets between $5M and $20M and working with complex financial institutions and regulatory requirements.
• College or university degree required; current or prior PMP certification is desired.
