Senior Data Engineer Consultant (AI)

What you will do

• Lead client engagements and co-design data engineering solutions from strategy through execution.
• Build robust, scalable data pipelines and architectures for structured and unstructured data.
• Design cloud and distributed data solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, with frameworks including Spark and Kafka.
• Develop data models and optimize relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph database solutions.
• Implement batch, streaming, and real-time integration patterns together with CI/CD and DataOps practices.
• Develop internal Data Engineering offerings, contribute to thought leadership and business development, and mentor junior and medior consultants.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with substantial programming.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent academic research.
• Experience or interest in Data Engineering, data and AI topics, and relevant sectors such as Energy and Finance.
• Working knowledge of technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure; the specific client stack may vary.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and mandatory fluency in Dutch or French are required.
