Labor Standards Expert (Retail)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; permanent onsite position

What you will do

• Own and maintain the end-to-end store labor standards model, assigning validated and documented time values to operational activities.
• Define and improve methodologies, calculation logic, governance principles, and review processes for labor standards.
• Lead time studies, work measurement activities, productivity assessments, and workload analysis across front-of-house, back-of-house, and omnichannel operations.
• Update standards to reflect new processes, operating model changes, and omnichannel workflows.
• Document methodologies and operating principles and act as a subject matter expert for work measurement and productivity.
• Partner with Operations Development, Retail Operations, Labor Demand, Workforce Management, Tech, Product, and global sales-market teams.

Requirements

• Experience in work measurement, labor standards, industrial engineering, methods engineering, operational productivity, or labor modeling.
• Experience conducting time studies, task analysis, productivity assessments, or workload measurement in operational environments.
• Strong understanding of operational workflows, process analysis, productivity drivers, and workload assumptions.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting operational, productivity, and time-study data.
• Experience documenting methodologies, standards, rules, and process frameworks accurately.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail, logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, or another high-volume operational environment.
• Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders through data, methodology, and subject-matter expertise.
