Technical Engineer (Retail Payments)

What you will do

• Drive retail payment initiatives from idea through implementation across markets, vendors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders, risks, dependencies, and delivery plans.
• Support the implementation and rollout of payment solutions across H&M's global retail landscape.
• Establish and improve governance processes, ways of working, and operational routines.
• Facilitate decision-making through clear communication, structure, and status reporting.
• Challenge stakeholders and vendors when commitments, timelines, or quality expectations are at risk.

Requirements

• Experience in project coordination, delivery management, or systems integration.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with multiple teams and external partners.
• Understanding of payment systems, POS environments, and technical integrations.
• Ability to drive accountability, follow up on commitments, and manage multiple workstreams.
• Strong communication skills with both technical specialists and senior stakeholders.
• English CV required; the role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, with regular office presence in a hybrid setup.
