Space Configuration Management Manager

Location: Adelaide, Australia. Hybrid work from home and office and a 9-day fortnight may be considered. Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Framework for the Allied Mission System product line.
• Establish and improve CM plans, processes, controls, and governance aligned with Product Line Engineering.
• Manage baselines, product variants, changes, deviations, versions, and configurations across multiple customer delivery environments.
• Develop and maintain System and Product Breakdown Structures with engineering stakeholders.
• Promote Configuration Management best practices across the Space Domain organisation.
• Apply quality assurance practices to business and engineering workflow development and automation.

Requirements

• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining Configuration Management plans, processes, and practices.
• Experience applying Configuration Management principles within a Product Line Engineering environment.
• Ability to independently manage priorities and deliver process, workflow, and governance improvements.
• Experience in complex product development environments with competing priorities and tight delivery timelines.
• Stakeholder engagement experience across government, defence, and international organisations.
• Australian citizenship and Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level, or the ability to obtain it, are required.
