Senior Security Researcher (AI)

Location: Hybrid role with compulsory attendance two days per week at the London or Cambridge office, United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Investigate trends and emerging threats in generative AI security.
• Research attacker tradecraft targeting generative AI chatbots and agentic systems.
• Contribute to rapid prototypes and open-ended security research initiatives.
• Provide domain expertise and actionable feedback to support product development and improve product performance.
• Coordinate with product, development, and machine learning teams.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in cybersecurity and a keen interest in emerging AI technologies.
• Understanding of generative AI systems, popular foundation models, and agentic architectures.
• Knowledge of direct and indirect prompt injection, poisoning, inference, and extraction attacks.
• Demonstrable experience investigating attacker tradecraft in at least one coverage area: network, endpoint, cloud, or Kubernetes.
• Logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
