Senior Release Manager (ERP)

Location: Remote position based in Germany, with occasional on-site collaboration at offices in Berlin or Cologne.

What you will do

• Lead the evolution of the Enterprise Release Management process across Enterprise Systems.
• Establish standardized governance, release calendars, templates, documentation, and best practices.
• Coordinate complex releases involving Business Owners, Team Leads, ERP Consultants, Architects, Project and Delivery Managers, QA teams, and external partners.
• Drive release readiness by facilitating Go/No-Go decisions and managing dependencies, risks, approvals, and implementation planning.
• Improve release reliability, standardization, coordination, and future automation opportunities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Release Management, IT Delivery, Service Management, or Project Management in complex Enterprise Systems environments.
• Experience coordinating releases across ERP platforms such as D365 F&O, AX, SAP, or similar.
• Ability to manage cross-system dependencies without owning the technical deployment.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and structured release governance.
• Ability to align business and technology stakeholders around common release objectives.
