Ethics & Compliance Manager (f/m)

Location: Based in Elancourt, France, with regular travel to Ottobrunn, Germany

What you will do

• Manage complex due diligence processes for suppliers, consultants, business partners, lobbyists, customers, and strategic partners.
• Assess sanctions-related red flags and mitigate risks related to money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Prepare, present, and defend complex compliance files for internal Compliance Committees.
• Monitor third-party intermediary payments and manage governance frameworks covering conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, and sponsorships.
• Provide procurement compliance support and review Ethics and Compliance clauses in customer and consortium contracts.
• Deliver specialized compliance training and awareness programs for high-risk staff and management.

Requirements

• Degree or demonstrated expertise in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Professional experience in Ethics, Compliance, or Legal functions, preferably in a complex industrial or highly regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of compliance principles, risk assessment methodologies, and project management.
• Autonomy, sound ethical judgment, and the ability to advise business stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, diplomatic, and presentation skills.
• English proficiency is mandatory, and eligibility for the required security clearance is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French or German.
