Assistant Manager, Coach Japan Retail Finance

What you will do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for the Coach Japan business.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions and business partners.
• Help create bottom-up sales plans and forecasts by sales channel, as well as the annual forecast and Long Range Plan.
• Synthesize daily and weekly sales performance, explain variances against plans and targets, and communicate findings to leadership.
• Support sales-driving promotions, product planning, buying, expense planning, and special projects.
• Perform financial analysis of store-related CAPEX investments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, consulting, or financial institutions.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and SUMIF.
• Business-level Japanese at N1 level is required.
• Mid-business-level English in listening and reading is required; speaking and writing are preferred.
• University degree in Finance or Economics, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• CPA or CFA qualification.
• Experience supporting sales-driving initiatives or retail operations.
