Senior Financial Analyst, Business Unit Finance (Orthopaedics)

Johnson & Johnson MedTech develops healthcare and medical device solutions, with the Orthopaedics business planned to become the standalone DePuy Synthes company.

What you will do

• Lead and support business planning, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and regular FP&A reporting for the Orthopaedics/DePuy Synthes business.
• Manage franchise financial data, P&L analysis, sales dashboards, gross profit commentary, price and volume analysis, NPI tracking, and operating expense reporting.
• Provide financial insights on growth opportunities, macroeconomics, reimbursement, competition, investment allocation, and resource requirements.
• Partner with regional and global finance teams, Supply Chain, GS, Tax, Compliance, and business leaders to improve accuracy, efficiency, and financial governance.
• Support rebate programs, sales incentive plans, financial education, cross-market initiatives, audits, and other business projects.
• Lead or support the financial separation of the Orthopaedics business, including ERP, CAPEX, purchase-order systems, data migration, vendor coordination, and change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of finance business experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Japanese.
• Experience with accounting, internal controls, compliance, financial analysis, and process improvement.
• Ability to influence senior-level decisions, lead cross-functional collaboration, manage risks, and communicate complex issues clearly.
• The position is based in Japan.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CMA, or another advanced degree or financial certification.
• Experience with SOX, HCC, FCPA, taxation, internal audits, and external audits.
