Junior Accountant (AI)

Location: Ukraine or Europe; hybrid work with the option to work remotely or from the Kyiv hub

What you will do

• Review primary invoices for compliance with supporting contracts and internal policies.
• Process and post financial documentation in the ODOO ERP system.
• Track unsubmitted invoices and follow up with vendors and managers.
• Prepare and post accruals during month-end closing.
• Coordinate with international stakeholders to collect documents on time.
• Identify process improvements and use AI tools to automate routine tasks.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of accounting or related finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or a related field.
• Understanding of financial accounting standards, accrual accounting, and month-end closing.
• Experience with ERP systems such as ODOO, QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher for contract reading and vendor communication.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience in an IT product company or Big Four firm.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot.
• Basic understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet reporting structures.
