Location: Remote from Australia or New Zealand with sufficient timezone overlap; the role is associated with Sydney, Australia

What you will do
- Build fast, testable, scalable, and high-quality frontend code.
- Plan, design, and implement scalable user interface systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user needs and iterate on solutions.
- Lead code reviews and documentation while handling complex bug fixes.
- Drive projects from technical design and implementation through launch and operation.
- Onboard and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or Vue.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of the modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing, and releasing.
- Extensive experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or Chai.
- Experience building frontend applications and software systems at medium-to-large scale and complexity.
- Experience with Agile software development and mentoring junior engineers.
